Dear Climatebase community,

Last week, 1600+ people joined the Cohort 9 Info Session to get a full overview of The Climatebase Fellowship — who the program is for, success stories and outcomes, programming schedule, what’s new for Cohort 9, and much more.

If you missed it, you can watch the recording of the full Cohort 9 Info Session — plus, we have 3 additional upcoming sessions for you to attend this week:

⚠️ Important: If you are considering applying to the Climatebase Fellowship, we strongly recommend doing so as soon as possible. Learn more and apply.

🗓 Fellowship Alumni Panel: Job Seeker Success Stories - This Thursday, Jan. 29, 11am

As a follow-up to our Cohort 9 Info Session, we encourage you to register for the Fellowship Alumni Panel: Job Seeker Success Stories this Thursday, January 29th, at 11 AM PT.

Join us online for a live panel discussion featuring Fellowship alumni who will talk about their own climate career journeys and how the Fellowship helped them transition into climate work.

During this session, you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Hear how the Climatebase Fellowship helped alumni land new jobs in climate and sustainability.

  • Understand how alumni translated their Fellowship experience into a competitive edge in their job search.

  • Learn how the alumni engaged with the Fellowship community to build their network and receive support from their fellow Fellows.

  • Ask your questions to the alumni panelists and our team during a live audience Q&A.

🗓 Fellowship Alumni Panel: Capstone Project Success Stories - This Thursday, Jan. 29, 9am

For many Fellows, one of the most powerful elements of the Fellowship is having the opportunity to work on capstone projects and startup ideas — pitching ideas, forming teams, and gaining hands-on experience.

If you’re an early-stage founder or simply eager to be a part of building something new, we encourage you to register for the Fellowship Alumni Panel: Capstone Project Success Stories, on January 29th at 9 AM PT.

Join us for a virtual panel featuring Climatebase Fellowship alumni who worked on capstone projects and startup ideas during the Fellowship (and beyond).

  • Hear concrete examples of successful capstone projects and startup ideas launched by teams of Fellows in our recent cohorts.

  • Understand how participating in a capstone project can strengthen your professional profile through tangible outputs, teamwork, and practical experience.

  • Learn about the range of project directions Fellows pursue: startups, research, consulting work, NGOs, media projects, internal initiatives, and more.

  • Ask your questions during a live, audience Q&A

🗓 Office Hours for Applicants & Prospective Fellows - This Friday, Jan. 30, 9am

For those of you who are unable to attend our full Info Session on Jan 22nd — or if you still have questions after watching the session recording — please register below for Office Hours with the Climatebase Fellowship Team for a virtual Q&A and a chance to get your remaining questions answered.

Note: We highly encourage you to watch the full Cohort 9 Info Session beforehand (fill out the registration form to immediately view the recording), as this session is designed primarily for questions not already addressed during the Info Session.

During this Q&A session, you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Get a quick, abbreviated overview of Cohort 9 and the Climatebase Fellowship experience.

  • Ask any remaining questions about the Fellowship experience and application process

About the Climatebase Fellowship:

The Climatebase Fellowship is our flagship career accelerator for ambitious professionals building careers in climate and sustainability — whether you’re trying to land your next job, level up, or start something of your own.

Each 12-week cohort combines expert-led climate curriculum, access to leading guest speakers and employers, hands-on projects, career coaching and support, and an engaged global community of 4,000+ alumni — with year-round access that extends well beyond the cohort.

Why apply now: admissions decisions are made on a rolling basis and spots are limited, so applying by today is the best way to maximize your likelihood of acceptance.

Important Notes:

  • We receive thousands of applications for each cohort — and unfortunately, some people apply at the very last minute before the final deadline. We usually fill the cohort before we're able to review last-minute applications — so do not wait until the deadline to apply.

  • If you know that you will be requesting need-based financial aid, it is even more important that you apply soon, due to our limited financial aid fund.

  • If you have already applied, make sure to regularly check your email (including your Updates and Spam inboxes). If you have not yet applied, we strongly recommend that you apply today.

We look forward to seeing you at the two alumni panels and the live Q&A session this week!

Warmly,

Evan Hynes
